Sh*t Got Real For 6ix9ine

So, the tomfoolery finally caught up to 6ix9ine, huh? After all of the trolling, threats and general scandal, Tekashi finally found himself in a bad situation, son. Look, even though I’ve criticized him before, I don’t wish harm on anyone. However, what the fuck did he expect, man? Listen, there’s only so long that a person can pop off at the mouth before something happens to them. All I know is, I hope 6ix9ine finally learns that there ain’t no future in his fronting.

Ok, for those who missed it, 6ix9ine found himself on the wrong side of a robbery. Now, to be real, there are a lot of conflicting stories about what happened, fam. In any case, I’m going to try and piece it all together. So, according to the authorities, Tekashi was in the passenger seat of a car when another vehicle blocked him in. Next, two dudes with guns hopped out and forced him into their car. From there, these guys allegedly took him to some random location in Brooklyn, made him call a friend to bring some personal property and even robbed him of some jewelry. In addition, he was apparently pistol-whipped.

Now, like I said before, I would never wish this type of shit on anyone, bruh. But, at this point, how many people would do harm to 6ix9ine, son? I mean, this dude has made it a point to ruffle everyone’s feathers, man. As of right now, he believes that the incident was an inside job. Shit, it very well could’ve been, fam. Look, did he really think he could light so many fires and never get burned, folks? On the real, a lot of us know him more for his fuckery than his music, brethren. Frankly, he’s lucky that a concussion was the worst of his injuries.

In the end, maybe this incident will teach 6ix9ine a lesson. I mean, for a millisecond after XXXTentacion‘s murder, he looked like he wanted to turn over a new leaf. On the other hand, this entire story could be a publicity stunt, son. I mean, he did just drop that subpar “FEFE” collaboration with Nicki Minaj. Ultimately, he needs to understand that trolling can have serious consequences, fam. By and by, those consequences may be catching up to him, bruh. That is all. LC out.

This XXXTentacion Sh*t Is Wild!

Look, let me keep it a buck, son. I’d be a hypocrite if I wrote an entire post singing XXXTentacion‘s praises, man. I mean, on this very blog, I’ve been critical of his alleged criminal behavior. However, with all of that being said, no one deserves to die the way he did, fam. Shit, XXX’s death is yet another example of why this hood shit is for the fucking birds, bruh. All in all, this type of violence needs to be COMPLETELY eradicated, brethren.

Ok, for those who missed it, XXX was killed yesterday in Miami, Florida. Apparently, he was leaving a motorcycle dealership when two men ran up on his car. Now, the rumor is these dudes were trying to rob him. Further than that, the word is the shooters made off with his Louis Vuitton bag. So, let me get this straight, son. A fucking LV bag is worth a man’s life? A 20-year-old dude? Like, think about that, man. XXX didn’t even make it to drinking age, fam. *Sigh* Dying over material possessions is the most senseless shit in the world, bruh.

Listen, I’m not going to pretend like I’m well-versed in XXX’s music. Shit, I was off that wave when I heard about his alleged crimes against women. But, I can’t front like his death didn’t throw me for a loop, son. Look, for all of his faults, he was still young as hell, man. Shit, he was young enough to make amends for his actions and improve as a human being. However, he no longer has that opportunity, fam. And for what, a bag? Money? Jewelry? Hell, NONE of that shit is worth a life, bruh. This “crabs in a barrel” mentality is among the most treacherous pitfalls in Black and Brown communities.

In the end, the lost of life is always sad, son. Ultimately, XXX didn’t deserve to die over something so petty, man. By and by, I hope all of these new artists learn from this, fam. At the end of the day, life can be short and there’s no time to waste it over frivolous behavior. In addition, there’s no room in our community for such levels of jealousy and violence. All of the bullshit has to stop, bruh. That is all. LC out.

P.S. All of these videos of folks dying need to stop being circulated, son. Good fucking Lord, let’s have some respect for people’s lives, man! At some point, idiots on social media need to quit doing shit for likes and comments, fam. All I know is, a person’s death should NEVER be used for attention-seeking and clout-chasing. Good day.

How Does Spotify Choose Who To Ban?

So, before I begin, let me make one thing clear: I am in no way caping for XXXTentacion or R. Kelly in this post. Frankly, if both of them got the Thanos Infinity Gauntlet treatment, I’d be perfectly fine with that. In any case, I’m only bringing them up because Spotify‘s new “Hate Content & Hateful Conduct” policy is a little weird, son. I mean, why were those two particular artists picked out? In addition, what does that mean for other similarly-accused artists? Lastly, will any of these changes actually stick?

Ok, for those who missed it, here’s what’s going on. So, based on their new policy, Spotify is removing the music of R. Kelly and XXXTentacion from their playlists. Now, their songs will still be available on the streaming service, but they won’t be visibly promoted. Apparently, this is a way for them to choose who they support, based on their “values.”

Now, in theory, I see what Spotify is trying to do here. Look, both XXXTentacion and Kelly have been accused of some heinous deeds, man. Shit, XXXTentacion has had a myriad of legal issues, including the alleged assault of a pregnant woman. In addition, we ALL know what Kelly has been accused of, fam. Now, here’s my thing: why were these two artists selected? Hell, if we’re being real here, A TON of musicians have been accused of some dastardly shit, bruh. So, where do we draw the line exactly? Is Spotify going to remove EVERY artist that’s been accused of something? If so, it’s going to be SUPER quiet for all of their playlists, son. Keeping it a buck, a lot of these musicians are just terrible people, folks.

Side note, can Black people NOT pull the race card in this circumstance? On the real, I HATE when our community does that, man. Look, I just saw Akademiks try that shit on social media. Listen, can we not use racism as a way to protect abusers, rapists and murderers? Ok, yes, I know there’s a double standard when it comes to justice. However, I’m not about to march or take a stand for a certified dirtbag, fam. It just is what it is, bruh.

In the end, I’m just trying to understand what the end game is, son. Ultimately, Spotify has to come up with a clear methodology on how to choose who to ban, man. Also, I wonder if they can even maintain this initiative long-term. By and by, I’m not necessarily mad at them for removing XXXTentacion and R. Kelly. At the end of the day, I just want to know how far they’ll try to take this and if it’ll actually work. That is all. LC out.
