New Music Fridays: LC ‘Here & Now’ & ‘Legacy’

Ok, before anybody asks, no, I’m not restarting New Music Fridays per se. In actuality, today’s post was inspired by my recent show, son. Now, I only had a ten-minute set, but I was able to squeeze three songs in there, man. In any case, for those who are familiar with my music, “Two Eyes” was the first song I performed. However, the last two joints I rocked out to were new, fam. So, I feel like it’s only right for me to share them with everyone, bruh.

With that being said, everybody can listen to “Here & Now” and “Legacy” below, son. As always, the songs can be streamed/downloaded on SoundCloud and streamed on YouTube. All I can say is, it’s good to be back in my element, man. Keeping it a buck, based on the amount of time I’ve been away, I was nervous before I got onstage, fam. But, once I got up there, I felt like I was at home, bruh. Shout-out to all of the good people who came to see me. All in all, there will be more shows and more music in the near future, folks. Fuck with your boy! LC out.

The End Of ‘New Music Fridays’

So, we’ve come to the end of an era, folks. First off, I want to thank everyone who’s supported me through my New Music Fridays experiment. Since March of 2017, I decided to put out a new song every two weeks. This is mainly because I’m a crazy person who likes to overwork himself. In any case, I might’ve missed a couple of weeks over the course of a year, but I’m happy to say that I still put out 16 songs I’m proud of. With that being said, I’ve decided to piece all of my songs together into one compilation album.

Now, without further ado, everyone can listen to The Charlemagne Renaissance below. Keep in mind, this is an unmastered version of the album. Ultimately, I’m going to get it mastered and put it on all of the streaming services. For now, folks can get a basic gist of my brand of music. Anyway, the album can be streamed on SoundCloud below. All in all, I would love to get everyone’s feedback, so feel free to drop a note or a comment, son.

Lastly, this isn’t the end of my musical journey. Basically, I felt like this series had run its course and I want to move on to other plans. By and by, I have big goals for 2018 and I’ll definitely share them as things start to happen. Ok, I think I’ve rambled enough, man. Let’s just get to the music, fam. Yessir! LC out.

New Music Fridays: LC ‘Two Eyes’

So, anyone who knows me knows that I’m a musician at heart. I may talk about a lot of different topics on this site, but at my core, I’m an artist. Keeping it a buck, when I first started this blog, I started it because I was having writer’s block with the music. I figured this was a way for me to be creative while I figured out my next move. In any case, as the years progressed, I started to stray away from writing songs. Frankly, real life started getting in the way of my art.

With all of that being said, I’ve decided to do something about it. At first, I was going to release an entire album. I was recording a bunch of songs and figured I’d compile them into a complete project. Then, one day, I said fuck an album, just drop some records, son. So, that’s exactly what this is, man. This is LC‘s rendition of New Music Fridays. So, my plan is to release a new song every other Friday going forward. Now, I originally wanted to drop a new track every week, but c’mon son. I still have a wife, two kids and a full-time job. Ain’t enough hours in the day, bruh. Anyway, today is the first installment of my madness. Side note, someone needs to hold me to this, because I might say fuck it all tomorrow.

Ok, now that I’m done rambling, everyone can listen to “Two Eyes,” my new song below. It’s on both SoundCloud and YouTube, so the choice is up to the listener. Keep in mind, the song is downloadable on SoundCloud. Now, without further ado, here’s my unofficial official return to music. Or is it official unofficial? Whatever, son. Let’s back to business! LC out.
