Conor McGregor Isn’t Retiring

So, I won’t lie, son. I haven’t blogged in a little while because I burned myself out, man. I mean, after all of the work that went into putting out an album, I felt drained, fam. Side note, everybody should go listen to my The Charlemagne Renaissance album right now. Like, right now, bruh! It’s on Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal and whatever streaming service the homies created in their basement. In any case, I’m back today to call Conor McGregor’s bluff. All in all, I don’t believe he’s retiring for one second, folks.

Ok, for those who missed it, McGregor hit Twitter to announce his retirement from MMA. Apparently, thanks to all of that Floyd Mayweather and Proper No. 12 whiskey money, he doesn’t feel the need to fight again. Now, in theory, he’s right. Sh*t, during the course of his career, he’s sold countless PPV’s and has had countless highlights. For God’s sake, he’s responsible for 5 of the top 6 UFC PPV buys, son. Frankly, he couldn’t possibly become any bigger of a star, man. So, what’s left for him to do, fam?

With all of that being said, I’m still calling shenanigans, bruh. Listen, McGregor is a competitor, son. Ok, yes, he’s also a businessman, but he made it this far by being a warrior. The way I see it, he won’t call it a career until he fights both Khabib Nurmagomedov and Nate Diaz again. Look, based on pride alone, I don’t see him riding off into the sunset knowing that he couldn’t beat Khabib. I’d bet money that McGregor thinks he can take him in a rematch. I mean, he’s wrong, but I guarantee he’s going to try again, man. On top of that, the series with Diaz is tied 1-1. McGregor knows that this rivalry needs a definitive winner, fam.

In the end, all will be answered, bruh. Ultimately, McGregor may have some people fooled, but I’m not one of them, son. By and by, give him like 6 months, man. He’ll find a reason to get back into that Octagon, fam. At the end of the day, I’ll still be there to watch it. All I know is, he’d have much better luck against Diaz than Khabib. Keeping it a buck, McGregor can’t beat that monster from Dagestan, people. It just is what it is, brethren. That is all. LC out.

My Album Is On Apple Music, Spotify & Tidal!

So, I won’t lie, son. On the real, I’m having a hard time keeping my composure right now, man. I mean, MY ALBUM IS OUT, FAM! That’s right, my album, The Charlemagne Renaissance, is officially on all streaming services. Meaning, if anybody goes to Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, etc., my album is ready to go, bruh. With that being said, I hope everyone takes a listen and gives me some feedback, folks.

Now, for those who remember, I was putting out a lot of music in 2017. Thanks to New Music Fridays, I was dropping a new song every two weeks. Anyway, all of the songs were just floating around SoundCloud. So, I decided to properly release them as an album, son. From there, Jevon Roché gave me some super dope artwork and Rick Torres mastered the project. Needless to say, I’m indebted to the both of them, man. Also, my guy Zeyi came through with the fire verse and blessed a song. All in all, I’m beyond hyped, fam!

In the end, there’s nothing else to say, bruh. Ultimately, I just hope that people will take the time to listen, son. By and by, I put a lot of work into this album and I hope folks enjoy it, man. In any case, to whoever is reading this, let me know what the best tracks on the project are. I’m always interested in hearing people’s opinions. Thank you! That is all. LC out.

Thanks For Supporting My Music

So, since Thanksgiving is this week, instead of tripping on the historical fuckery of the Pilgrims, I’ve decided to talk about what I’m thankful for. With that being said, I want to say “thank you” to every family member and friend who has aided my musical journey. Over the last year, I’ve been back on the right path, and over the last two months, the pace has accelerated. All in all, I don’t take anyone’s support for granted, son.

Ok, as a lot of folks may know, since early 2017, I’ve been putting out new records. Now, from March to December, I’ve released a total of 16 songs as part of my New Music Fridays series. Fast forward to September of this year, I’ve returned to performing onstage. Since September 8th, I’ve had a total of five shows, including one at the legendary SOB’s. Needless to say, I’ve enjoyed every minute of it, man. In any case, none of this would’ve been possible if my people didn’t help me. So, I couldn’t let this time pass without giving them my full gratitude. Frankly, all of these fine folks are helping me live out my dream.

In the end, I don’t know what else to say, fam. Ultimately, this is the happiest I’ve felt in years. By and by, something happens to the spirit when a dream is deferred. At the end of the day, I’m glad I’m out of that rut, bruh. Anyway, I love everyone who’s gotten me to this point and this is only the beginning, son. As of right now, I have some big things on the horizon. First, I’m going to be re-releasing my The Charlemagne Renaissance album on Apple Music, Spotify and Tidal. Side note, folks can vibe out to it on SoundCloud for the time being. In any case, be on the lookout for that. Also, I have more shows in the very near future. The time is now and I want everybody to take this ride with me. Thanks a lot! LC out.

P.S. Shout-out to Scott Morris and all of my brethren at Mor.Bookings for holding the boy down. They’re definitely the plug that I’m not going to run off on. That is all.

P.P.S. Everyone go follow @lcharlemagnenyc on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. That’s where I make all of my music-related posts. Yessir! Good day.

The End Of ‘New Music Fridays’

So, we’ve come to the end of an era, folks. First off, I want to thank everyone who’s supported me through my New Music Fridays experiment. Since March of 2017, I decided to put out a new song every two weeks. This is mainly because I’m a crazy person who likes to overwork himself. In any case, I might’ve missed a couple of weeks over the course of a year, but I’m happy to say that I still put out 16 songs I’m proud of. With that being said, I’ve decided to piece all of my songs together into one compilation album.

Now, without further ado, everyone can listen to The Charlemagne Renaissance below. Keep in mind, this is an unmastered version of the album. Ultimately, I’m going to get it mastered and put it on all of the streaming services. For now, folks can get a basic gist of my brand of music. Anyway, the album can be streamed on SoundCloud below. All in all, I would love to get everyone’s feedback, so feel free to drop a note or a comment, son.

Lastly, this isn’t the end of my musical journey. Basically, I felt like this series had run its course and I want to move on to other plans. By and by, I have big goals for 2018 and I’ll definitely share them as things start to happen. Ok, I think I’ve rambled enough, man. Let’s just get to the music, fam. Yessir! LC out.
