Donald Trump Hates Sports

So, just in case anyone forgot, Donald Trump is a fucking joke, son. I mean, with all of the tomfoolery happening in our country, why does he consistently focus on the wrong things? Shit, Kim Jong-un is trying to nuke us all, but Trump would rather talk about the NFL. Healthcare is still being debated in Congress, but he’d rather take shots at Stephen Curry. Man, this dude has ZERO understanding of the nature of his office. Honestly, when will this man realize that his job isn’t a reality show? More importantly, will we all still be alive by the time he figures it out?

Now, for those who missed it, Trump has been on a tear recently. First, during a speech in Huntsville, Alabama, he called football players who don’t stand for the National Anthem “son[s] of bitch[es].” In addition, he demanded that these players be fired, regardless of the fact that they’re exercising their First Amendment rights. Next, he set his crosshairs on Curry and the Golden State Warriors. Since Curry expressed that he wasn’t interested in visiting the White House, Trump took it upon himself to “uninvite” the team. Needless to say, the Warriors organization didn’t give a flying fuck, man.

In any case, as expected, everyone with sense called Trump out for his idiocy. LeBron James went hamburger on him for even thinking that rescinding an invitation was a power move. Look, logic states that a person can’t uninvite someone who wasn’t even planning on going. Meaning, Trump is a clown for thinking that anyone cares about his little temper tantrum. Real talk, a speech isn’t going to make a team visit the White House and it isn’t going to stop players from protesting racial injustice.

Listen, the fact of the matter is, Colin Kaepernick started a movement, son. Now, the powers that be thought that getting rid of him would stop the momentum. However; as more players from different leagues get onboard, the fight just keeps getting stronger, man. Hell, just the other day, Bruce Maxwell became the first MLB player to kneel for the anthem. All in all, players are determining that they won’t be silenced by influence and intimidation. Also, more owners and organizations are starting to join the debate, people. The snowball effect is starting to occur.

In the end, maybe Trump should stick to presidential matters. I mean, it’s not like he’s even doing that well, fam. Frankly, he shouldn’t have time to comment on players because he should be focused on doing his job better, bruh. Ultimately, this is yet ANOTHER example of the clowncake that the Electoral College put in office. *Sigh* The fuckery just doesn’t stop, son. LC out.

Thanks A Lot, John McCain

Man, the GOP never ceases to amaze me, son. I mean, they are just hell bent on getting rid of a healthcare system that’s actually helping people. On the real, who needs a replacement plan, right? Let’s just repeal the current law with NO hope of finding a substitute. Listen, that’s basically what the Republicans are doing right now, fam. Like, they can’t get a bill of their own passed, but still “need” to destroy the Affordable Care Act. All I know is, John McCain is no better than the rest of his constituents. All in all, thanks for nothing, McCain.

So, before I continue, let me be clear about something. I have nothing but respect for McCain’s service to this country. Nothing can take away from the fact that he’s a war hero. In addition, before he made the MONUMENTAL ERROR of choosing Sarah Palin as his running mate, I wasn’t entirely mad at his previous presidential bid. With that being said, I can’t condone his fuck shit in regards to healthcare. For a man who’s supposed to be a “maverick,” he’s essentially choosing his party over the American people.

Now, for those who are unaware, the Senate had an emergency healthcare vote yesterday. The wild thing is, they weren’t voting on a replacement plan. Why? Because they don’t fucking have one, man! Instead, they just voted to begin debate on repealing ACA. Meaning, these clowns are determined to get rid of Barack Obama‘s plan, despite the fact that they have nothing to offer. Ultimately, the vote passed 51-50, with Mike Pence serving as the tiebreaker.

To make matters worse, after his ridiculous vote, McCain still stated he wouldn’t vote for the proposed GOP bill. So, why the FUCK did he make this vote, bruh?! That doesn’t make any sense, fam! He admitted that they have no plan and he admitted that ACA’s popularity is rising while Republicans fumble the ball. By and by, this administration would rather burn down the establishment than admit that no one wants what they’re selling. Fam, I truly don’t understand how ANY of these politicians sleep at night.

In the end, a cancer diagnosis won’t stop me from calling McCain out on his shit, man. I wish him the best in regards to his health, but it’s ironic that he clearly doesn’t wish the same for us. All in all, I wonder if McCain even knows who he’s fighting for anymore. Real talk, it ain’t the American people, son. Not in any shape, form or fashion. LC out.

Do We Want The Righteous Or The Ratchet?

So, to begin, the above picture has little to do with the premise of this post. Frankly, I’m using the images of Ayesha Curry and Cardi B as a means of trolling. With that being said, I have a real question for all of my readers. Does everyone out there want the righteous or the ratchet? I ask that because I always notice the difference in response between posts about political/social issues and posts about pop culture. All I want to know is, is celebrity more important than the issues that affect our everyday lives?

Now, before I continue, let me keep it a buck. On the real, I’m thankful for ANYONE who reads this blog. I mean, I’m wholeheartedly surprised that folks pay attention to my random ramblings. In any case, as people could probably tell, I’ll talk about any and everything on this platform. Frankly, this blog is essentially a snapshot of my free association writing. So, I will continue to touch on a wide variety of topics. However; I do find it odd/slightly disheartening that people would rather read about things like Rap beef than police brutality.

Look, let me be clear, son. Regardless of what I write about, I’ve gained a base that will support me. I mean, that’s fucking beautiful, man! I check my analytics everyday and do the Carlton Dance out of pure joy. With that being said, it scares me that sensationalism seems to be more important than reality. While I thoroughly enjoy making fun of pop culture fuckery, I also want people to take a greater interest in substantial issues. Being honest, in the grand scheme of things, speculation about Kim Kardashian‘s ass shouldn’t trump healthcare, pun intended.

In the end, I’m sorry if I’m coming off a bit preachy here. On the real, that’s truly not my intention, man. Listen, I’m really no better than anyone else, son. Basically, I’m just a random dude with an internet connection who happens to care. Ultimately, my only goal is to make everyone out there aware of what’s happening around us. Now, don’t worry, I’ll keep making fun of our celebrities when they do dumb shit, fam. However; I just want people to care about the righteous as much as we seem to care about the ratchet. That is all. LC out.
