Drake Owes Shiggy Some Money

So, Drake‘s “In My Feelings” is number-six on the Billboard Hot 100, huh? Look, Drake breaks records everyday, so I’m not going to pretend like that song wouldn’t have been a smash, son. However, homie DEFINITELY owes Shoker, better known as Shiggy from The Shiggy Show, some bread, man. On the real, Shiggy almost single-handedly made that track hotter with his #DoTheShiggy movement. All I know is, this #InMyFeelingsChallenge started an entire wave, fam.

Ok, for those who missed it… wait, nah, bruh. At this point, I’m pretty sure EVERYONE on social media has seen some variation of this challenge, son. In any case, about a week and a half ago, Shiggy started a dance craze on his Instagram page. Basically, a simple dance routine inspired a whole heap of celebrities to join in on the fun. As of right now, I can’t even count the number of people who have followed the trend, man. From Odell Beckham Jr. to Ciara to Drake himself, damn near everybody has embraced Shiggy’s moves, fam.

Listen, all I’m saying is, Shiggy definitely gave Drake a boost, bruh. I mean, the song probably would have been a hit in the long-run. However, its popularity absolutely skyrocketed as a result of this viral movement, son. With that being said, Drake owes Shiggy something, man. Shit, at the bare minimum, Drake should put him in the video, fam. Hell, based on the fact that Drake just did the dance at Wireless Festival in London, we all know he’s aware of Shiggy’s fingerprints, folks. All in all, Shiggy deserves SOME type of recognition, people.

In the end, shout-out to Shiggy for going viral, son. Ultimately, I need all of my New York brethren to win, man. By and by, I’m still not the biggest fan of the song, but I respect the movement, fam. Shit, I respect the fact that social media can be this powerful, bruh. At the end of the day, folks can become a phenomenon from an app, people. I mean, it’s fucking crazy, folks. That is all. LC out.

I Can’t Stop Laughing At ‘Mans Not Hot’

To begin, two plus two is four, ya get me? That’s all anyone needs to know, son. Listen, I don’t care what anybody says, man. “Mans Not Hot” will never not be funny to me, fam. Never mind the double negative I just used in the last sentence, bruh. In any case, the legend himself, Big Shaq, just dropped the video for his jam. Needless to say, I’m HYPED, folks!

Ok, for those who are unaware, Big Shaq is a persona of Michael Dapaah. The London-based comedian came to prominence after his appearance on Charlie Sloth’s BBC Radio 1Xtra Fire in the Booth show. Anyway, Big Shaq reached G.O.A.T. status when he described the sounds that his guns make. Basically, a few choice “skrrra pap pap” noises made him an Internet sensation, son. From there, his tomfoolery permeated through countless memes and jokes.

Now, at the height of the wave, Big Shaq finally dropped his accompanying video. With that being said, everyone can watch the video below, man. In the end, the lyrics are hilarious and the beat is hard. What else is necessary, fam? Nothing, that’s what! LC out.

Chaos At An Ariana Grande Concert

Man, I’m speechless right now, son. Honestly, I don’t have a lot to say about last night’s terrorist attack in Manchester, England. All I know is, the entire situation is fucked up, fam. I mean, beyond fucked up, man. Ultimately, I want to give my condolences to anybody who lost a loved one due to this unnecessary act of violence. In addition, I hope for a full recovery for anyone who was injured in the attack. At this point, we really all need each other, man.

So, keeping it a buck, I’d be surprised if someone didn’t hear about last night’s tragedy. In any case, at the conclusion of an Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester Arena, an explosion erupted. This lead to the death of 22 people and the injury of 59 more. As of now, not much else is know about the situation, except that Salman Abedi is the alleged suicide bomber.

Now, in terms of Abedi, he was apparently a 23-year-old British national who was “known to authorities.” Also, ISIS has come forward to claim responsibility for this senseless act. With that being said, I don’t even know what to make of that because ISIS loves to take credit for shit without any verifiable proof. Anyway, regardless of whatever organization he belonged to, Abedi took it upon himself to harm and kill innocent people. Once again, religious/political agendas seem to be at the helm of chaos and dispair. Look, enough is fucking enough, fam!

In the end, I don’t know what else to say here, man. Listen, this is simply a terrible situation, son. Hopefully, we can get to the bottom of this as soon as possible. In my eyes, someone needs to go down for this shit. Too many people have paid the ultimate cost for this shit to go unanswered. By and by, if ISIS is really behind this debacle, they need to be eradicated once and for all. *Sigh* That’s all I’ve got, man. That’s all I’ve got. LC out.

Can We Finally Talk About Homegrown Terrorists?

Now, before I say anything else, I’d like to give my regards to the families who were affected by the recent terror attack in London, England. No matter how many times these travesties happen, it’s always incredibly sad to watch. With that being said, there’s a conversation that needs to be had, man. Can we finally talk about homegrown terrorists? I mean, if we really looked at the most egregious attacks in recent years, they’ve all been perpetrated by citizens. At some point, we need to stop politicizing everything and speak on the real issues. Our own people are being radicalized and it’s destroying our respective nations.

So, when it comes to Wednesday’s incident, the horrific deed was carried out by Khalid Masood. As a recap, Masood got in his car, drove on the pavement and started running down pedestrians. Ultimately, he killed four people and injured fifty more. Now, it’s notable that Masood was born as Adrian Russell Elms in Dartford, Kent. Meaning, he was a product of the same land he just terrorized. Somewhere along the line, he got radicalized by ISIS and carried out a heinous act of violence. Apparently, even though he had a criminal record, he wasn’t under any investigation for this type of behavior.

Moving on, Masood’s act continues a dangerous trend that seems to be flying under the radar. A large number of the most despicable acts against people are being committed by natives. I mean, let’s go down the line, man. Dylann Roof, the Charleston church shooter, was born in South Carolina. Rizwan Farook, the San Bernardino shooter, was born in Illinois. Omar Mateen, the Orlando nightclub shooter, was born in New York. Alexandre Bissonnette, the Quebec mosque shooter, was French Canadian. Does anyone else see the pattern here? In all seriousness, the most vicious attacks in recent years were all committed by citizens. So, if that’s the case, why the fuck are we always talking about travel bans and border walls?!

Look, if people like Donald Trump really want to keep America safe, then we need to address our homegrown killers. On the real, a wall along the Mexican border and a Muslim Ban wouldn’t have prevented ANY of these incidents, man. So, how will they make any of us safer? I mean, it’s common fucking sense, son. We need to figure out why so many citizens are turning their backs on their countries and becoming radicals. If not, none of these ridiculous preventative measures will have any type of effect. Shit, more people will die and all we’ll do is argue about the root cause in the media. Ultimately, nothing will get accomplished, man.

In the end, these are scary times, son. The problem is, if we don’t come up with real solutions now, the times will only get scarier. Now, instead of focusing so much on what other countries are doing, can we pay attention to our own people? Ok, thanks. LC out.
