Say It With Me: Alexandre Bissonnette Is A Terrorist

So, it goes without saying, but the media is having a very hard time right now. Any time regular news outlets try to call Donald Trump and company out on their bullshit, they’re branded as “fake news.” On the real, the notion of “fake news” has become so prevalent these days, Trump is making it a point to bar his surrogates from even going on CNN. According to the White House, they don’t want to send their people to a place where they can’t promote their “agenda.” Those are actual words from an actual press release, son. Now, the wildest part of all of this is the fact that their preferred outlets are the biggest perpetrators of false reporting. Case in point, take a look at how Fox News and Breitbart News handled the Alexandre Bissonnette story.

Ok, before I continue, let’s make one thing clear: Bissonnette is a fucking terrorist. I’m not here to sugarcoat anything or downplay the situation. This coward walked into the Quebec Islamic Cultural Center this past Sunday, murdered six people and critically injured five others. Now, when Dylann Roof massacred nine people in South Carolina‘s Emanuel AME Church, we all rightfully mourned. However; I see no such empathy or sympathy for the Muslims who lost their lives in Canada. The hypocrisy is absolutely disgusting, man.

Look, make no mistake here. Bissonnette is a well-known sympathizer of all things racist, sexist and xenophobic. The people who know him describe him as a dude who was enthralled by Trump, Marine Le Pen and embraced far-right ideologies. In addition, he frequently made disparaging comments about immigrants and women on social media. With all of that being said, this fuckboy purposely went into that mosque to kill Muslims. THAT is an act of terrorism, plain and simple.

Now, when Fox News and Breitbart got a hold of this story, they were quick to label the possible suspect a man of “Moroccan descent.” Come to find out, the man they’re referring to is a witness who was helping authorities. Even after Canadian police officially shot down the erroneous story, Fox News didn’t immediately retract their false narrative. To make matters even worse, Breitbart is still insinuating that a Moroccan man carried out the attack. Keep in mind, Steve Bannon, the real President, is the former executive chair of Breitbart. To make matters EVEN WORSE, Sean SpicerU.S. press secretary, used this situation as justification for Trump’s Muslim Ban, despite the fact that a Muslim wasn’t even the fucking culprit!

Son, what planet are we living on right now?! I don’t want to hear shit about “fake news” anymore. We, the people, are watching facts and sensibility be destroyed right before our very eyes. Like, it’s getting to the point where it’s hard for me to focus, man. I truly can’t understand how some people don’t see the writings on the wall. *Sigh* All jokes aside, I’m starting to feel my depression creep back in. I need to get away from this fucking country, son. LC out.

I Wish Dylann Roof The Absolute Worst

So, I, like many others, was always taught growing up to never wish ill on someone. “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you,” so on and so forth. However; some people deserve to have bad shit happen to them. Dylann Roof is one of those people, man. Keeping it a buck, I have nothing positive to say about that piece of shit and I genuinely, GENUINELY hope his time in prison is brutal.

Now, at this point, I shouldn’t have to tell everyone what this subhuman did. Anyone who isn’t aware of the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church massacre that happened in South Carolina must not care about people. In any case, Roof’s trial just wrapped up and he was found guilty on all counts. As of right now, he’s in the sentencing phase.

To be clear, his conviction is not why I’m writing this. Nah, what he said at his death penalty trial made my fucking blood boil, son. Not only did he fail to apologize for killing nine innocent people, but he also made some bullshit speech about why he “had” to do what he did. In his eyes, his deed was some sort of ridiculous retribution for all of the “innocent White children” who have to live in this country and all of the “innocent White people” killed by the “lower race.” He continued by saying he represented himself in court because he didn’t want his lawyers to question his mental stability. Apparently, there’s nothing wrong with this asshole.

*Sigh* I don’t even know where to start, man. Ok, let’s start with the fact that 84% of White people are killed by other White people. That stat comes directly from the FBI, man. So, who are all of these White people being killed by the “lower race?” This fucking devil based his entire rampage on a theory that doesn’t even fucking exist, man. This is no better than Donald Trump and Ann Coulter calling all Latinos “rapists” and the overall Islamophobia being perpetuated in this country. A misguided fear of the “other” is leading people to commit heinous crimes against innocent folks. There are never any facts to bolster a bigot’s argument, yet they feel like it’s their right to harm people who don’t look, act or believe like them. It’s absolutely fucking disgusting, man.

Ultimately, I’m one of the few people who doesn’t believe in the death penalty. Not because I think it’s wrong, but because I think life in prison is worse. I want Dylann Roof to spend the rest of his natural life in general population. I don’t want him to be protected from any of the other inmates. Let’s see how long he lacks remorse when his cellmates lack remorse for him. Let’s see how long he thinks he’s tough when he encounters some really tough people. Death is the easy way out for cowards like him. He needs to continually suffer until he understands the gravity of what he’s done. And even then, he should suffer some more. I’m out.

Can I Live In Cam Newton’s America?

Let me start this post by saying, I’m not sure what America our good friend Cam Newton resides in, but shiiiiiiit, I’d love to live there. A country that’s beyond racism? That sounds phenomenal, son. Where can I sign up for a trip to this magical place? Oh, wait, he’s talking about this actual land we’re currently living in? Well, in that case, I’m thoroughly confused as all hell, man.

Now, recently, Cam did an interview with GQ Magazine. While speaking about a variety of different topics, the subject of race came up and that’s what caused my Rock eyebrow to raise. It’s no secret Cam has received his fair share of bad press, especially after the way his season ended post-Super Bowl. Even during the lead-up to the big game, Cam had to consistently field questions about being a Black quarterback in the NFL. With all of the varying attacks on his ability, temperament or whatever else critics tried to single out, for some reason, Cam doesn’t believe these shots were racially motivated at all. In fact, he stated that we’re “beyond that” as a nation. Wow, that’s news to me, son. Well, since his memory seems to be a little fuzzy, allow me to point out a few past situations and see whether his logic holds up.

Let’s start with the letter written to him by Rosemary Plorin. After a game where Newton’s Carolina Panthers trounced the Tennessee Titans, Plorin expressed her disappointment in Cam’s behavior during the game. In her eyes, he’s a role model who should never engage in any type of “showboating” behavior. In fact, she was so bothered by his actions, she expressed the idea she didn’t even know what to tell her 9-year-old daughter. Man, get the fuck out of here. This woman took her daughter to a game where grown men violently crash themselves into each other and she’s worried about the fact Cam likes to dab? Are you fucking kidding me, son? Last time I checked, Aaron Rodgers does that damn “Discount Double Check” every time he completes a first down and I can’t even count the amount of times I’ve seen footage of Rob Gronkowski acting a fool somewhere. Are these players also getting open letters written to them? If not, tell that woman to get off of her high horse and enjoy the game.

Now, let’s talk about Bill Romanowski. After the Panthers’ Super Bowl loss, detractors called out Cam for not being very forthcoming in his post-game interview. It was obvious from his attitude he didn’t want to answer any questions and his demeanor was the complete opposite of the celebratory character we saw all season. Now, I’ll be the first to admit, even I thought he was acting like a sore loser, but Romanowski took it a step further. In a tweet against Cam, he stated “you will never last in the NFL with that attitude. The world doesn’t revolve around you, boy!” Boy? Boy?! Maybe it’s just me, but I was pretty sure Cam was a 27-year-old grown ass man. No one can tell me there wasn’t even a tinge of racial prejudice behind that statement. Do I have to remind people about the history of White people calling Black people “boy” in this country? Honestly, I’d rather not, son. And besides, Google is everyone’s friend. Just go look it up.

At this point, I’m sure there are readers out there who aren’t sipping the Kool-Aid I’m serving right now. Honestly, that’s fine with me. We’ll just agree to disagree. With that being said, a Black public figure of his magnitude insisting we’re beyond race as a nation is still incredibly damaging. Were we beyond race when the Justice Department released a report stating the Baltimore police department regularly violated the rights of minorities? Were we beyond race when Dylann Roof shot night Black churchgoers in an attempt to start a race war? Were we beyond race when officers pulled Philando Castile over because he had a “wide set nose?” I didn’t think so, son. At this point, if Cam has nothing constructive to say on the subject, he needs to just shut the fuck up.

Ultimately, I guess Cam is doing his best O.J. Simpson impression. However; I’d warn him to be careful with that approach to life. We already saw how the O.J. story drastically veered off course. Good day.

Don’t Drop The Soap, Dylann Roof

Oh, wait, is someone offended by the title of this post? Pardon me while I casually shrug, son. Now, look, I’m not the guy who’s out here advocating violence against anyone. However; to be frank, if anyone out there expects me to feel some type of sympathy for Dylann Roof, I regret to inform those individuals, they’ve come to the wrong blog.

Now, apparently, while Roof was on his way to the shower yesterday, a dude by the name of Dwayne Stafford decided to deliver a little bit of street justice. A few punches to the dome later, Roof ended up with some bruises on his face and back. The injuries weren’t anything serious, but probably enough for Roof to realize he won’t be safe in jail. Side bar, I see what the news networks are doing out there. Accused shooter, son? I completely understand the “innocent until proven guilty” aspect of our justice system, but the last time I checked, this kid confessed to the nine murders at Emanuel AME Church. I guess it’s easy to go from being a “race war” enthusiast to an accused shooter when you’re White. In any case, I can absolutely see this being the start of many attacks on the 22-year-old. Like I insinuated earlier, two wrongs don’t make a right, but dammit man, a person can’t murder that many people in cold blood without someone trying to enact some type of retribution.

In the end, I don’t even think I have a point in this post. Honestly, I heard about the incident and not a fiber of my being was moved. Maybe it’s wrong, but it’s extremely difficult for me to have any kind of empathy for such a vicious killer. Let’s not forget the victims here. Those nine church members invited him into their church, into their world, and all he gave them in return was premature death. I know everyone doesn’t believe in karma, but shiiiiiiit, this might only be the beginning for Dylann. Good luck, murderer. Good luck.
