Donald Cerrone Can’t Win The Big Fight

So, before I even begin, let me say that I’m a big Donald Cerrone fan. Now, I feel compelled to say that because the rest of this post is going to be rough on him, son. In any case, I wouldn’t be me if I wasn’t objective, man. With that being said, it’s time to call a spade a spade, fam. The fact of the matter is, Cerrone just can’t seem to win the big fight, bruh.

Ok, for those who are living under a rock, Cerrone just fought Conor McGregor at UFC 246. Now, as I stated in a previous post, this was a huge fight, son. I mean, we have the return of McGregor and a big payday for Cerrone, the guy who holds most of the UFC‘s records. Anyway, I expected McGregor to win, but not like this, man. Like, Cerrone got absolutely ANNIHILATED, fam. For God‘s sake, the fight was over before it even started, bruh.

Look, we’re talking about 40 seconds, son. Real talk, 40 seconds is all it took for McGregor to beat the brakes off of Cerrone, man. Shit, after missing his opening haymaker, McGregor hit Cerrone with four-straight shoulder strikes to the face, then a head-kick and ended with punches on the ground. Listen, losing always sucks, but it’s gotta be especially trash to lose like this, fam. Hell, Cerrone went through an entire training camp, just to get finished before the one-minute mark. All I know is, that’s fucking tough, bruh.

But, as much as this hurts to say, I wasn’t really surprised, son. The fact is, Cerrone has never performed well in these big moments. Listen, during his career, Cerrone has gotten four chances at a world title (one with the UFC and three with the WEC). Frankly, he’s come up short every time, man. On the real, there are some fights were Cerrone looked fucking invincible. However, when the stakes reach their highest point, he doesn’t seem to perform the way I believe he’s able to. Fast forward to now and the same shit happened with McGregor. Yes, this wasn’t a title fight, but it was without question the biggest match of his career. Sadly, he couldn’t get it done, fam.

In the end, I don’t want this to seem like I’m just shitting on Cerrone, bruh. Ultimately, I really am a fan of his, son. By and by, I just wish his skills translated when the lights are the brightest, man. Then again, I’ll be right back when he fights again, fam. At the end of the day, I just hoped this would’ve been a better bout, bruh. That is all. LC out.

Conor McGregor Doesn’t Deserve A Title Shot

So, let’s just skip the formalities and get straight to the point, son. On the real, enough is enough, man. Ok, yes, I completely understand that Conor McGregor is the biggest draw in MMA history. However, at some point, the nepotism has to fucking stop, fam. The fact of the matter is, McGregor does NOT deserve another title shot against Khabib Nurmagomedov. At least, not right now, bruh. With that being said, can Dana White and the UFC stop trying to force this fucking fight down our throats?

Ok, for those who are living under a rock, McGregor is scheduled to fight Donald Cerrone at UFC 246 on Saturday. Anyway, this is a big fight for a couple of reasons, son. First, it marks the return of the most-bankable star in MMA. Second, it features Cerrone, a dude who holds a shit-ton of UFC records. This includes most wins, most finishes, most bonuses, most head-kick knockouts, etc. Third, despite being booked at Welterweight, the bout has MASSIVE implications on the Lightweight division. Now, this is where my beef stems from, man. The fact is, this match should have NO baring on whether or not McGregor fights Khabib for the belt again.

For one, no matter how McGregor tries to paint it, he got dominated by Khabib in their 2018 fight. Listen, in a bout that lasted nearly four rounds, McGregor only won one and ended up tapping out. In any case, that was McGregor’s last fight in the Octagon. Regardless, White is out here saying that a rematch with Khabib could be next if McGregor gets past Cerrone. In addition, White stated that McGregor will be on standby for the April 18 championship fight between Khabib and Tony Ferguson, in case either fighter backs out. *Sigh* What the flying fuck, fam? I mean, would Cerrone get a title shot if he beats McGregor? Probably not. So, why would McGregor, coming off of a loss, get another crack at the man who made him quit? This is fucking nonsense, bruh. Look, he hasn’t done ANYTHING in the interim to warrant a do-over.

Also, where does Justin Gaethje fit into this equation? Like, he’s ranked higher than McGregor AND he’s on a three-fight win streak. Correction, he’s on a three-fight knockout streak, INCLUDING Cerrone! So, beating Cerrone would get McGregor a fight with Khabib but not for Gaethje? Come the fuck on, son! For God‘s sake, White and the UFC don’t even TRY to hide their bias, man. All I know is, the company is playing with these fighters’ lives, fam. Real talk, people like Gaethje are actually out here putting in the work and a guy like McGregor, simply because of name-value, is stealing their shine. It’s GROSSLY unfair, bruh.

In the end, there’s only one way to derail this train, son. Ultimately, Cerrone has to pull off a miracle and beat McGregor, man. By and by, the bullshit has to stop, fam. At the end of the day, McGregor has done NOTHING to earn the position that the UFC is trying to put him in. Frankly, I don’t care about what he’s accomplished before. Keeping it a buck, the division has passed him by and other fighters have WORKED for their current spot. So, stop fucking over the ones who truly deserve it. Then again, money reigns supreme and everything I’ve just said probably won’t matter, bruh. *Sigh* Only McGregor nut-huggers want this shit to happen, brethren. Needless to say, I’m not one of them. That is all. LC out.

Jorge Masvidal Schooled Nate Diaz

So, it really happened, son. I mean, Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz really went at it for the “Baddest Motherfucker” belt. Side note, I really hope that Dana White and the UFC compensated Diaz for that trademark, man. On the real, we ALL know who invented that title, folks. In any case, outside of that maddening doctor stoppage, the fight went exactly the way that I thought it would. All in all, Masvidal is a much better fighter than Diaz, fam.

Ok, for those who missed it, Masvidal and Diaz headlined the UFC 244 card. Now, keeping it a buck, I’d have to write an entirely separate post to talk about all of the other fights, bruh. Anyway, when it came to the main event, it was a pretty one-sided affair, son. Like, through the first three rounds, Masvidal was easily handling Diaz, man. Between the body kicks, the faster hands and the harder punches, Masvidal was straight piecing Diaz up, fam. Listen, I don’t think the doctor should’ve stopped the fight, but I also don’t see how Diaz could’ve changed the result, bruh. Yeah, his cuts were bad, but Masvidal deserved to finish the brilliant fight that he was fighting, brethren.

Now, to my confusion, I keep hearing Diaz fans say that he would’ve turned it around in the fourth and fifth rounds. Shit, even Diaz himself said that his game plan was to tire Masvidal out and then take it to him in the championship rounds. Well, I have some bad news for Diaz fans: there’s literally NO evidence to support that theory, son.

Look, based on my research, Diaz has fought six five-round fights in his career (Masvidal, two against Conor McGregor, Benson Henderson, Jim Miller and Hermes França). The truth is, he’s lost four of those fights, man. In fact, the two fights that he did win (against McGregor and Miller), he finished in the second round. Meaning, there was no last-minute onslaught that secured the victory for him. So, the way I see it, he didn’t have a fucking prayer against Masvidal, fam. Frankly, Jorge proved that he’s a way more talented fighter than Diaz, bruh.

On another note, Diaz always has some excuse for why he loses fights. Listen, before he clashed with Masvidal, Diaz said that he previously lost matches because dudes wanted to “hug him” and not actually scrap. Well, Masvidal didn’t do any of that, son. In actuality, he sonned Diaz in a mostly stand-up battle. If anything, I’m mad at the doctor for giving Diaz a way out, man. Real talk, I wanted to see Masvidal finish that dominating performance, fam.

In the end, Masvidal is in his prime right now, bruh. Ultimately, he should absolutely get a title shot against the winner of Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington. By and by, I’m not really interested in a rematch between Masvidal and Diaz. At the end of the day, there was no proof that Diaz could do anything against him, son. All I know is, Diaz and his fans need to come to grips with reality, man. Then again, that’ll probably never happen, fam. That is all. LC out.

Conor McGregor Isn’t Retiring

So, I won’t lie, son. I haven’t blogged in a little while because I burned myself out, man. I mean, after all of the work that went into putting out an album, I felt drained, fam. Side note, everybody should go listen to my The Charlemagne Renaissance album right now. Like, right now, bruh! It’s on Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal and whatever streaming service the homies created in their basement. In any case, I’m back today to call Conor McGregor’s bluff. All in all, I don’t believe he’s retiring for one second, folks.

Ok, for those who missed it, McGregor hit Twitter to announce his retirement from MMA. Apparently, thanks to all of that Floyd Mayweather and Proper No. 12 whiskey money, he doesn’t feel the need to fight again. Now, in theory, he’s right. Sh*t, during the course of his career, he’s sold countless PPV’s and has had countless highlights. For God’s sake, he’s responsible for 5 of the top 6 UFC PPV buys, son. Frankly, he couldn’t possibly become any bigger of a star, man. So, what’s left for him to do, fam?

With all of that being said, I’m still calling shenanigans, bruh. Listen, McGregor is a competitor, son. Ok, yes, he’s also a businessman, but he made it this far by being a warrior. The way I see it, he won’t call it a career until he fights both Khabib Nurmagomedov and Nate Diaz again. Look, based on pride alone, I don’t see him riding off into the sunset knowing that he couldn’t beat Khabib. I’d bet money that McGregor thinks he can take him in a rematch. I mean, he’s wrong, but I guarantee he’s going to try again, man. On top of that, the series with Diaz is tied 1-1. McGregor knows that this rivalry needs a definitive winner, fam.

In the end, all will be answered, bruh. Ultimately, McGregor may have some people fooled, but I’m not one of them, son. By and by, give him like 6 months, man. He’ll find a reason to get back into that Octagon, fam. At the end of the day, I’ll still be there to watch it. All I know is, he’d have much better luck against Diaz than Khabib. Keeping it a buck, McGregor can’t beat that monster from Dagestan, people. It just is what it is, brethren. That is all. LC out.

What The F*ck Is Floyd Mayweather Doing?

So, this dude Floyd Mayweather just can’t seem to stay retired, huh? I mean, every time he says he’s done fighting, he finds some new way to gank folks of their money, son. In any case, since he doesn’t want to fight actual boxers anymore, he’s going for anything that will drum up attention. First, it was his bout against Conor McGregor, who had no professional boxing matches on his record. Now, he’s planning to fight Tenshin Nasukawa, an undefeated kickboxer/MMA fighter from Japan.

Ok, for those who missed it, Mayweather just held a press conference in Tokyo. Now, apparently, on December 31st, he’s fighting Nasukawa at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. Furthermore, this match will be promoted by the Rizin Fighting Federation. With all of that being said, there are still a lot of details that we don’t know. First, we don’t know what the rule set of the fight will be. I mean, we all know Mayweather is a boxer, so is he really trying to engage in leg kicks and takedowns with Nasukawa? Shit, that could be disastrous for Mayweather, man. Look, as a man who’s been kicked in his legs and choked before, I wouldn’t recommend it to a novice, fam. Side note, both instances happened in a gym, bruh. I don’t need anyone out there thinking that I’m getting helmed up in these streets. I’m just saying.

In the end, we’ll see, son. Ultimately, Mayweather doesn’t move unless the bag is involved. So, I’m assuming that he’s about to get stupidly paid, man. By and by, if it’s a boxing match, then I probably won’t tune in. However, if it’s a kickboxing or MMA bout, then Mayweather might have my attention, fam. At the end of the day, he might be testing the waters of other combat sports. Hell, he needs to before he even thinks about stepping in a cage with Khabib Nurmagomedov or McGregor. Either way, he’d still get mauled, bruh. That is all. LC out.

Stop Hating, Floyd Mayweather

Man, I swear that attention actually matters more to Floyd Mayweather than money. I mean, anytime the spotlight is on someone else, he finds a way to weasel himself into the situation. On the real, for someone who’s had so much success, I really don’t understand why he always feels the need to be so damn petty. Like, regardless of how people may personally view him, he’s without question one of the greatest boxers ever. So, why won’t homie just shut the fuck up and ride off into the sunset?

Ok, for those who missed it, Mayweather has been doing a lot of fuckity-fuck shit lately. Well, let me be more specific, son. Real talk, he’s had an entire life of fuckity-fuck moments. Anyway, over the last view months, he’s been blatantly trying to steal Canelo Álvarez‘ shine. First, there was Mayweather’s out-of-the-blue announcement that he’s planning on fighting Manny Pacquiao again. Now, this random assertion came on the same day as the rematch between Canelo and Gennady Golovkin. Basically, Mayweather couldn’t let such a huge fight go down without throwing his name in the ring (pun intended).

Now, Mayweather wants to shit on Canelo’s new deal with DAZN. As previously reported, Canelo just signed a 5-year, 11-fight deal with the streaming service for $365 million. Essentially, he just signed the richest contract in sports history. In any case, instead of being happy for Canelo or simply minding his business, Mayweather took to Instagram to hate. He brought up the fact that he previously beat Canelo (while claiming that he’s a worse fighter than Conor McGregor) and bragged about his pay-per-view payouts. Listen, we all know that Mayweather made a lot of money and bested Canelo before. But, who the fuck was talking about that, man? Then, to make matters worse, he posted a picture of Oscar De La Hoya (former opponent/Canelo promoter) dressed in drag. For what? For God‘s sake, no one was even talking about Mayweather, fam!

In the end, Mayweather should just take his money and go home, bruh. Ultimately, no one wants to see him act like a hoe ass hoe anymore. In addition, no one wants to see him box Khabib Nurmagomedov. By and by, he’s had his time in the sun, man. At the end of the day, he’s just out here looking like a clown, son. Then again, this isn’t the first time he’s been out here looking like a clown, fam. Frankly, he may be better at that than boxing, brethren. That is all. LC out.

Stop The Hypocrisy, Conor McGregor Fans

Look, let me be clear from the beginning, son: Khabib Nurmagomedov was dead wrong for jumping in the crowd after beating Conor McGregor. However, I need ALL McGregor fans to shut the fuck up, man. I mean, the hypocrisy is fucking astounding, fam! Listen, by no means is McGregor a fucking saint, bruh. Frankly, he started shit with the wrong dude and finally had to face the consequences of his actions. All in all, I don’t want to hear shit about how Nurmagomedov needs to be stripped.

Ok, for those who don’t love sports, UFC 229 went down on Saturday night. Now, all around, it was a night of great fights, son. Shit, Derrick Lewis knocked out Alexander Volkov after losing most of the fight, Tony Ferguson beat Anthony Pettis after a fucking WAR and a bunch of other awesome shit. In any case, the showdown between Nurmagomedov and McGregor was poised to be the highlight of the show. Moving on, the fight went exactly the way I thought it would, man: Nurmagomedov mauled McGregor. Hell, after hitting McGregor with copious amounts of ground and pound, Nurmagomedov choked him out in the fourth round.

Now, this is where shit went left, fam. After the fight, Nurmagomedov got into a war of words with Dillon Danis, McGregor’s partner in crime, and literally jumped over the cage to rumble with him. Needless to say, chaos ensued and Nurmagomedov was escorted out of the main area without his Lightweight Championship Belt. All I can say is, it was an ugly scene and Nurmagomedov should’ve done a better job of controlling himself. For God‘s sake, he already proved his point, bruh! Like, he already beat McGregor in convincing fashion. On the real, there was no need for this shit, son.

With all of that being said, I’m sick of people acting like McGregor is innocent in all of this. Keeping it a buck, HE STARTED THIS ENTIRE DEBACLE, MAN! Where was all of this “oh, this is so disgusting” talk when he threw a fucking dolly at a bus carrying Nurmagomedov? From that incident alone, he injured Ray Borg, shook Rose Namajunas to her core and fucked up Michael Chiesa‘s fight. Ok, yes, he did end up in a New York City court, but McGregor was never in jeopardy with the UFC, fam. Fuck, they literally used the dolly incident in their fucking promos for UFC 229!

On top of that, McGregor talked about Nurmagomedov’s religion, his country, his father AND his manager’s son. Real talk, I don’t want to hear none of that “it’s just business” talk, bruh. Yeah, insulting a man is one thing, but disrespecting everything he loves is something completely different, son. All I know is, I would’ve been livid too, man. The fact of the matter is, McGregor tried his usual antics with the wrong dude and ended up on the bad side of an ass whooping.

In the end, Dana White and the UFC better not strip Nurmagomedov of the belt, fam. Ultimately, I know they’re looking for an reason to give Conor back the title, bruh. By and by, McGregor has done too much fuck shit with no consequences, son. At the end of the day, Nurmagomedov should be fined but allowed to keep his title. He beat McGregor fair and square, man. However, knowing White and his usual treachery, he’s going to strip Nurmagomedov and make McGregor and Ferguson fight for the vacant title. Look, if that happens, everyone heard it here first, fam. But, I really hope that doesn’t happen, bruh. Long live The Eagle! LC out.

P.S. I’m also tired of people complaining that Nurmagomedov wrestles too much. Listen, I’ve seen too many “he needs to stop hugging him and fight him like a man” comments. Fam, don’t be mad because Nurmagomedov’s way of fighting is effective. The truth is, McGregor had no answer and was forced to tap. In addition, Nurmagomedov landed the hardest punch of the entire fight. Maybe, just maybe, McGregor needs to learn how to grapple better. He’s been submitted four times now. That is all.
